Your privacy and data security are of vital importance to us. This Privacy Policy governs the telemetry collection, token processing, security practices, and data retention standards of WebPush ("Platform", "We", "Us").

1. Zero Personally Identifiable Information (No PII Collection)

Our web push notification engine is built from the ground up to protect end-user privacy. We collect ZERO Personally Identifiable Information (PII) from your website visitors or subscribers. We do NOT prompt for, collect, or store visitor names, physical addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, or credit card details.

2. Anonymous Telemetry Data Collected

To route push campaigns accurately to subscribed browser channels, our script collects only the following non-personally identifiable telemetry data:

  • Browser Push Tokens: Anonymous device endpoint tokens generated by browser push services (Google FCM / Apple APNs).
  • Device & User-Agent Attributes: Device family (Desktop vs. Mobile), Browser name/version (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari), and Operating System (e.g. Windows, Android, macOS).
  • Geographic Tags: Approximate country and locale tags derived from IP headers for campaign geo-targeting.

3. Best-Effort Security & Cyber Intrusion Non-Liability

WebPush.in employs industry-standard server hardening, SSL/TLS transport encryption, and database access restrictions to safeguard platform data.

While we make reasonable technical efforts to protect stored telemetry data, no electronic transmission over the internet or database storage system can be guaranteed 100% immune from sophisticated cyberattacks, zero-day vulnerabilities, malware, or server intrusions.

BY UTILIZING OUR SERVICES, YOU AGREE THAT WEBPUSH.IN AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS, UNAUTHORIZED EXPOSURE, BREACH, OR SYSTEM HACK RESULTING FROM THIRD-PARTY MALICIOUS OR CRIMINAL ACTS BEYOND OUR REASONABLE TECHNICAL CONTROL.

4. Third-Party Push Brokers (Google FCM & Apple APNs)

Push notifications are delivered via browser native push brokers, including Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Apple Push Notification service (APNs). Token lifecycle management, encryption in transit, and token invalidation are subject to the privacy terms of those respective browser vendors.

5. Subscriber Opt-Out & Permission Revocation

Website visitors have complete, 100% control over their push notification permissions. Any subscriber can unsubscribe or block push notifications at any time directly through their browser settings:

  1. Click the Lock Icon () next to the website URL in your browser address bar.
  2. Go to Site Settings > Notifications.
  3. Select Block or Reset Permissions.

6. Website Owner Obligations

If you integrate WebPush.in tracking scripts on your website, you are responsible for maintaining an appropriate privacy policy on your domain informing your site visitors that you utilize browser push notification services to dispatch updates.
